Northwest Kidney Fest

We will be participating at the Kidney Health Fest for African American Families This Saturday May 7th. The event is being hosted by the Northwest Kidney Centers, the world’s first out-patient dialysis center. The Event will be held at Van Asselt Elementary at 8311 Beacon Ave. S., Seattle 98118 from 9 am to 2 pm. And we look forward to seeing you there.

Our 62nd luncheon is currently underway at the Campion tower ballroom of the Seattle University. Thanks to all our members, supporters, and guests for making this a wonderful event. We will have a post luncheon post summerizing the event next week.

18th Annual HIV Clinical Update for Nurses

The 18th Annual HIV Clinical Update for Nurses in Seattle will take place June 16th and 17th at the University of Washington.

The Keynote Speaker will be Lucy Bradley-Springer from University of Colorado and the 2011 HIV Treatment Update will be provided by David Spach UW Professor of Medicine.

This event will be co presented by The Northwest AIDS Education and Training Center (NW AETC) and the Association of Nurses in Aids Care

2011 Luncheon

On April 2, 2011, 1pm, we will host our 62nd Annual Scholarship Luncheon at Seattle University, Campion Ballroom. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Brian J. Carter, Deputy Director and Education Director of NAAM. He, in cooperation with Swedish Medical Center, and a host of health care professionals and volunteers, including MMPNO are responsible for the “Checking our Pulse” Exhibit which runs till June. Our Luncheon and Silent Auction are to continue our legacy of giving. We will present scholarships to the selected 2011 Recipients during the reception.

Another Year of scholarships to be awarded this year in our continued legacy of giving. The MMPNO Scholarship committee just completed the review and selection process of this years scholarship applicants and have selected the the recipients. the 2011 MMPNO Scholarship recipients will be presented during the Annual Luncheon on April 2nd.
